Yuletide in Abrams: A Magical Christmas Tree Walk

There’s something especially heartwarming about the holidays in a small town, and this year’s Yuletide in Abrams Square Christmas Tree Walk captured that magic beautifully. On Saturday, December 6, families and friends bundled up and gathered in the square as the community’s decorated trees flickered to life for the very first time. With town chairperson Don Demeny kicking off the celebration, the crowd erupted in smiles, photos, and that unmistakable holiday buzz. The display will shine nightly all the way through January 4, 2026, offering plenty of time to stroll, enjoy, and soak in the season.

Abrams Spotlight Productions was thrilled to adopt one of the many trees lining the walk, joining other local businesses in spreading festive cheer. Of course, we couldn’t resist giving ours a theater-themed makeover- complete with spotlights, show-inspired ornaments, and a little touch of stage magic. You’ll even spot a few popcorn buckets tucked into the branches for an extra dose of playfulness and nostalgia! Hidden within the tree are three special ornaments, each representing one of our exciting 2026 shows: Legally Blonde the Musical, 1776, and Miracle on 34th Street. Visitors are encouraged to find all three, snap a photo, and tag ASPI on Facebook for a chance to win free tickets to an upcoming performance.

This wonderful tradition wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of the Friends of Abrams, and we extend a heartfelt thank-you to Sarah Heimke for her leadership in organizing this year’s Christmas Tree Walk. From the joyful lighting ceremony to the creativity showcased by every participating business, the event reflects what makes Abrams so special- community, warmth, and a shared love for celebration. Make sure to take a stroll through Abrams Square this season and experience the glow for yourself!
