Join Abrams FLASHLIGHT Productions for a one-day audition workshop designed to prepare young performers for the stage! Whether your child is brand new to theater or already auditioning, this workshop will help them feel more confident, prepared, and excited for their next role.
Planning to audition for A Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens Jr.?
This workshop is a great opportunity to sharpen the very skills needed for that audition β including singing, acting, choreography, and improvisation. Participants will leave with a better understanding of what to expect and how to stand out in a positive way.
Please note: Attendance at the audition workshop is not mandatory or expected for those wishing to be a part of Dickens Jr. No preferential treatment will be given to students who attend the workshop.
Workshop Sessions Include:
- Acting & Cold Reading with Elizabeth Jolly-Haslitt and Bobby Buffington (ASPI Directors)
- Singing with Leah Tomesek (ASPI Music Director)
- Choreography with Debra Jolly and Ali Carlson
- Improv with Carrie Masse and Matthew Worzala (Comedy City)
Each session is hands-on, fun, and tailored to build audition-readiness. The day ends with a mock audition where students can apply what theyβve learned and receive encouraging, helpful feedback from instructors and peers.
